Is EDID applying a Pro-only feature?

Currently I am trying to fix 4k@120hz issue with usb-c to hdmi adapter following this guide:

However, I ran into a problem when trying to apply the new EDID.
After uploading it, I attempted to apply the EDID, but was blocked by the following:

So the question is: is EDID applying a Pro-only feature? Or am I missing something?
