Hmm. Great question. The issue is new to me and honestly I don't know the answer as I don't have a Thunderbolt Display. :( Do you see the native settings and auto brightness for the display in System Settings and does native controls work or do you need an app like BetterDisplay (and DDC) to control the display? I'll move this to discussions, maybe others have more insight on this one. |

I have a 15" MBP M3 plugged into a thunderbolt hub which is connected to an Apple Studio Display and Apple Thunderbolt Display. I have auto brightness switched off on the Thunderbolt Display because it's significantly less bright than the others so it needs to always be full brightness. When I adjust the brightness of any of the displays the auto brightness on the Thunderbolt Display switches itself back on and then starts adjusting itself down. Is there a way to have this not happen?
