Hello! I've been testing BetterDisplay and the features are impressive. I am trying to solve a specific problem though, and I'm not sure if I can do it… I have two displays. I turn display B on from a power strip (together with some audio gear) when I'm making music in that part of my "home studio". The problem is that macOS thinks monitor B is still there even when its power is off. I have to manually disable it from BetterDisplay to actually have just one active display for macOS. Otherwise my mouse pointer can escape to the invisible monitor B, or some windows may be hidden there. Can I somehow automatically disable monitor B when I turn its power off? Or perhaps create two different profiles (one for just monitor A and one for A+B) and switch to the correct one – either automatically or manually from a keyboard shortcut? (There are other things I'd also like to set at the same time, like which is the main display.) I'm more than happy to purchase the Pro license if I can get my setup working smoothly with BetterDisplay :-) |

Hi there, yes, you can do all kinds of presets, automations, shortcuts etc using scripting or macOS Shortcuts.
Hope this helps! |
