Built-in screen not disconnecting while connected to 2 2k screens via DisplayLink docking station

HI all,

My old docking station died so I got myself a WavLink WL-UG69DK1 one, which connects 2 2K Lenovo L24Q-10 monitors via DisplayLink.

But when I now try to work on the 2 external monitors and want to disconnect the built-in screen of my MacBook Pro M3, it immediately turns on again.

I searched the issues and discussions and tried the option to aggressively disconnect the built-in screen option.

But turning that on BetterDisplay becomes merely unresponsive since the built-in screen falls into a connect/disconnect loop.

Any idea how to turn of my built-in screen while using my 2x 2K monitors?

I am using the pro version by the way, may that be of any influence for possible solutions. Running MacOS 15.5 and the latest DisplayLink version 1.12.2 (build69).

Does this happen when at least one of the external displays are connected as native (instead of displaylink)?

Can you try turning on "Allow disconnecting all connected displays" and turning off "Auto-connect all displays when no connected displays left" under Settings/Displays/Overview/Connection management settings?

Setting those settings as you said did the trick. built-in display is off now. And when one display was connect via displaylink and one directly to the hdmi on my macbook. I could disconnect the built-in display.
