External display doesn't show login details on startup/restart

I'm using MBP 2021 (M1), and only issue I've encountered that on startup/restart login details are always shown up on build-in screen, (despite it is disabled, and options
"Disconnect build-in display when external display is connected",
"Disconnect reconnected displays upon wake"
are enabled.
I'm not using virtual screens.

Hi there - yes, on login the app is still not running and the built-in display is not being disconnected, this is why this happens. You can probably set the login to be shown on the external display if you make the external display as your main display for the display layout that has both the external display and built-in display enabled.
