Add a near-native HiDPI variant for the native resolution removed?

Hi all,

Using BetterDisplay on a M3 Max MBP connected to a 34" UW, 3440x1440p. I remember I used to be able to select the option in the title to get essentially the native resolution in HiDPI but it no longer seems to be the case?

I turned on Enable Resolutions over 8K and got many more options but the slider jumps from 94% to Default.

Is this expected? Removed for some reason?

Yes, this wasn't needed for modern macOS versions after Ventura so it was removed (note: might need to re-enable this one as it seems like some recent Mac models again do not seem to allow native equivalent HiDPI resolutions). You can create a custom resolution though to achieve the same effect.

Hm, it seems that I can't select 3440x1440 (native) as HiDPI at 144hz. I used to be able before in Sonoma though. Only workaround I found was to select the native res as HiDPI at 100hz. That works, 120hz just stretches the entire screen out of bounds. 144hz doesn't even show as HiDPI.

Same problem here, thank you for a workaround! Have to switch from 144Hz to 120Hz. Updated to Sequoia a few days ago.
