Hmm. Interesting. I don't think it's app related though. Let's move it to discussions and see if anyone else has similar experiences. Transient display burn-ins can be tricky so it might be a display panel issue. |

I don't know if this is an issue with betterdisplay or my monitor—but I have 3 LG 32GP83B and it's only happening on one of them. These are IPS displays and so burn-in shouldn't be an issue with routine use.
It's "fake" in the sense that one moment it isn't an issue at all, then suddenly the monitor will appear have this "scanlines" effect (like old TVs, but they horizontal lines are stationary) and then the "burned-in" image will appear instantaneously, without time to burn in. Then, if I adjust the brightness up/down, there's a position (69%) where the burn-in effect is much more visible.
By "suddenly", I mean it seems to be triggered by having a figma tab open in chrome—but only if a specific area of the figma document is dragged to a certain area of the display.
Finally, the burn-in will fade away after awhile if the figma tab is closed.
This is the weirdest thing! I don't know where to start so I figured I'd start here.
