[Help Needed]: Monitor resolution shortcuts.

Hi. Is it possible to change the resolution of a non focused monitor, in a multi monitor configuration, using a shortcut ?
It is not working on my side. I've to focus with the mouse some input filed to use the shortcut, otherwise it doesn't work.

It should work. How do you attempt to change the resolution? Which shortcut are you using?

If you are using the app's built-in keyboard shortcuts to change resolution, make sure you have this configured properly:

I checked the code - these keyboard shortcuts indeed work only for the screen with the mouse, de "video adjustment shortcuts affect" setting has no effect on them. I guess it looked logical at the time. Do you want to change the resolution of all displays at once?

(note: there should be no need to focus anything, just moving the mouse is enough - just tested it + also checked the code - the mouse position matters only for these)

I expected to be able to change the monitor resolution of the second monitor while working on the first one. This would be super useful for me. As a frontend developer ofter i have the browser in the second monitor while working with the code in the first one and I'd like to change the resolution without moving the mouse. I did a test with the CLI and it worked fine. Would it be possible to have the same behavior as for the CLI with the app shortcuts ?

With the CLI you can directly address a display. For a keyboard shortcut the app should have a simple way to decide which screen to work with and the mouse position seems to be the best way to do so for these features. For any advanced stuff it really is betterdispalycli is the way to go, you can do a Shell Script action in Shortcuts with it.
