Reduce White Point

iOS has a feature to reduce white point (https://support.apple.com/en-gb/guide/iphone/iph3e2e1fb0/ios#iphec3d5ac66)

Any chance BetterDisplay can bring this to MacBooks and other Apple desktop displays?

Hi - macOS supports altering white point/color temperaturs. This is what Night Shift and True Tone does and you can also adjust this using a custom (advanced) Color Profile calibration. BetterDisplay also has a white point/color temperature slider under Image Adjustment (go for the slider with the temperature icon in it) that makes it super easy to adjust this.

@waydabber I am not seeing the white point slider on Native XDR (2021 MBP M1 Pro Max display). Is it the gain? beautiful app btw, thank you!

Sorry, you are right, there is a color temperature slider which is meant to readjust the image based on the white point / white temperature. Although it is not as exact as a proper white point selector with specified Kelvin values.

I think "white point" should refer to "Gamma"? In Apple Color Calibration Utility it is expressed so.

I think Gamma is something else, but there is a gamma slider as well.
