Interesting. Never seen anything like this. Can you share a bit more about the setup? Does this still happen if you exit the app? |

I mean you leave HiDPI on and exit the app - HiDPI should be available after exiting the app. Or how did you activate HiDPI? Are you using virtual screen mirroring (which requires the app to run continuously) and not smooth scaling? |

Okay my bad for not making it clear, if Hi-DPI mode is turned on irrespective of whether app is running or closed the stuttering is present. If the mode is turned off then issue isn't present. Ans yes I activated HiDPI after running app (also kept run at login turned on) |

I see. Well, it means that the stuttering is not because of the app is doing something fishy in the background which is good news. :) However the bad news is that if the app is not running, this seems to be a generic macOS issue when the desktop is supersampled using HiDPI or some other app somehow interfering with something and I have no clear idea why this is happening. :( I see you are using various apps/utilities, some which might affect the mouse (at least I see a mouse icon in the toolbar). You might want to start trouble-shooting to see if you disable any or all of them the issue still persists and what makes it reappear if you can make it go away. Sorry for not having a better recommendation about this. |

(but I'll move this to discussions, maybe others can chime in with a similar experience?) |

I think you are correct about it being macos issue i can see it happening even when i have it HiDPI disabled it still stutters for "hand" cursor, but when i went to record in quicktime showed stutter for all the cursors (not what i saw in naked eye), also tried disabling all utilities didn't help |
