Game crashes at Bethesda Logo after manual downgrade from 1.6.1170.0 to 1.6.1130.0 using current Best of Both Worlds Patcher

Game crashes at Bethesda Logo after manual downgrade from 1.6.1170.0 to 1.6.1130.0 and then to 1.5.97.0 using current Best of Both Worlds Patcher.

To reproduce:
(Backed up both main version of game before attempting downgrade or patch)

Install current Full Anniversary Edition (not the freebie upgrade) v1.6.1170.0
Downgrade to 1.6.1130.0 via below method:

Skyrim app id: 489830

1. Open a command window "Run" by pressing «Win + R»
   Entered the command: steam://open/console and then press Enter to open Steam Console.

2. Entered the commands to download the parts of Skyrim 1.6.1130.0 as below listed

(waite d till it gave the "Downlaod Complete" remark and the location of the files.)

3. Opened This PC and went to C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\content\app_489830

Copied all files from the depot folders listed there in to my game install folder and overwrote everything. Game is officially downgraded to the version 1.6.1130.0.

Game loads just fine with v1.6.1130.0

4. Used current 1.6.1130.0 Best of Both Worlds Downgrade patcher to set game version to v1.5.97.
   BestOfBoth_1.6.1130.0-1.5.97.0.exe

Game crashes in 0.4 seconds after showing Bethesda Logo.

OS: Windows 11 24H2 with all current updates, All C++ files, DirectX installed and verified working.
Original Game version: v1.6.1170.0
Downgraded version: v1.6.1130.0 Via Console
Patched downgrade version: 1.5.97
Mod Manager: Vortex v1.14.0-Beta.7

Expected the usual perfect downgrade and game function as before.

No Mods Installed.
Game crashes with either using SKSE or not using SKSE.

I attempted this both with and without the CK installed and downgraded to v1.5.73 and still had the same effect.

Graphics are set to medium with low shadows and no godrays or occlusion. Graphics card is an Asus gaming model RTX3060 12GB card on the latest drivers.

Papyrus log only ever has two entries:
[06/06/2025 - 09:05:04AM] EditorPapyrus log opened (PC)
[06/06/2025 - 09:07:28AM] Memory page: 128 (min) 512 (max) 204800 (max total)

They seem to have added or changed something in 1.6.1170.0 that is causing problems..

I have attempted this by first downloading and activating all CC mods given with 1.6.1170.0 and then downgrading to 1.6.1130.0 and then to 1.5.97.

I have attempted not downloading and activating CC mods until 1.6.1130.0 and then downgrading to 1.5.97.

I have attempted the downgrade to 1.5.97 by not opening the launcher or downloading anything with the same effect in all three circumstances. Same result.. CTD at Bethesda Logo.

Others are also experiencing the same problem.

I attempted the above steps both with, and without the appmanifest set to read only to prevent additional upgrades with the same results.

Thank you for all your hard work keeping our precious game going for all these years. I stopped playing for just over a year, removed my old install and returned 3 days after they upgraded to 1.6.1170.0 to find this happening. It's just one of those things.. I hope you can sort it out.. I miss my game..
