Partial Legend Support

I am making a map that uses only some of the data from an esri dynamicLayer. Currently, this plugin does a fantastic job of pulling in the entire legend from the server, but I would prefer to not show the parts of the legend that are irrelevant to my map.

Is there a way to filter the legend before rendering it?
