Issue description

My theme was adapted to the latest version of VuePress, vite was used as the default compiler. A hook function reported a warning error and could not fetch data. Although it is a VUE error, I have no idea and hope to get your help.

Reproduce the issue

I didn't have any problems with it when I developed it locally, but it reappeared when I used it after publishing to NPM.

I gave up on adapting to Vite, and 2.0.0-beta.33 is fine for me.
