In the future will you introduce a way for an error to be thrown when a variable that was initialized as a const using a $ref is attempted to be mutated?

Right now you can use constants and lets to create reactive variables. In javascript when you use const that tells the user that you can't change the variable at all. I don't think compiler mechanisms should interrupt programming mechanisms at all. I know the developer would know better. But I still think code should be read in a way that is intended by the language.

There should be an error when you attempt to create a reactive variable that has a const on the left side. I don't know how compilers work. I don't know if this is possible but if Ts can figure out whether or not you are using a const or a let. Maybe the compiler should too. So far I find this API to be simple and just an addition to Vue. I'm just asking for it to stay that way instead of it interfering with how the javascript works. Even if you do intend to make Vue into a "language" you still should not mess with the language that it is built in.

By the way I'm not an anti-magic fan I agree with this one point that they bring up about magic
