sharing a vue app url on social media

i am trying to share a link on a product page on social media. but even if the meta tags are set when i inspect, the image,title and description are not set on the shared link on social media. i am new to web development and any help will be highly appreciated

Is your metadata fixed? If so, check whether it is written correctly. If it is dynamic, vuejs will render the document at runtime by default, and the sharing crawler will not run, but will directly capture the metadata information on the document. You might consider using Nxut.

Meta data i have to use are dynamic since they are about the products of the e commerce web site. i have considered about using nuxt but it is not feasible at the moment since the project is almost complete. is there any other work around i could try

• If your server can read and write html and then return it, similar to PHP, you can write back meta and then return it.

You can use Open Graph Protocol meta tags to achieve this.
You can add dynamic meta tags for every route or the route you want to share as a URL. Have a look here to achieve this
