How to modify the name/IP Address of the hosts generated using vcsim?

I have created a simulator using the below command

vcsim -cluster 1 -dc 1 -folder 5 -host 8 -standalone-host 0 -l "0.0.0.0:8989" -vm 20 

1. Is there a way to modify the host names of all the generated hosts using govc. I tried below options. But couldn't make them work.

   govc fields.set configInfo.aboutInfo.name <<newHostName>> /F0/DC0/host/F0/DC0_C0/DC0_C0_H0
   govc fields.set ConfigInfo.AboutInfo.name <<newHostName>> /F0/DC0/host/F0/DC0_C0/DC0_C0_H0
   govc fields.set ConfigInfo.AboutInfo.Name <<newHostName>> /F0/DC0/host/F0/DC0_C0/DC0_C0_H0
   govc fields.set Config.About.Name <<newHostName>> /F0/DC0/host/F0/DC0_C0/DC0_C0_H0
   govc fields.set host.Name <<newHostName>> /F0/DC0/host/F0/DC0_C0/DC0_C0_H0
   govc host.option.set -host=DC0_C0_H0 Config.About.Name <<newHostName>>
   govc host.option.set -host=DC0_C0_H0 Config.About.Name <<newHostName>>

2. Also would be helpful if someone can guide me on how to modify the IP Address of the generated hosts as well.

I also tried govc object.rename /F0/DC0/host/F0/DC0_C0/DC0_C0_H0 <newhostname>
but I get
govc: ServerFaultCode: HostSytem:host-32 does not implement: Rename_Task error
