Looking for VSAN profile constraints

Hi Everyone.

I am working on a govmomi-based data gathering project and I can currently get VSAN default profile id & profile name for the DS. What I cannot seem to find anywhere is a method to get the details of the default profile and what the constraints are (eg BasePbmCapabilityConstraints? specifically (s)FTT/RAID-level/etc).

I have looked at all the pbm methods and see that there are options to create, update or check compliance of a capatibilityspec, but I can't seem to find the details of the current profile specs.

I hope this makes sense, I am pretty new to govmomi. Am I missing something obvious here?

So it turns out that PbmRetrieveCapabilityContent does exist, it just isn't written into the currently existing RetrieveContent method and isn't parsed from the SOAP content.

@crlogic do you mean PbmRetrieveContent ? That's the method used with this command for example, the -dump flag outputs the entire PbmCapabilityProfile structure:

govc storage.policy.info -dump "vSAN Default Storage Policy"

Yes I'm calling the PbmClient RetrieveContent which only seems to return a BasePbmProfile that offers a single method with no other properties accessible. That very same SOAP call in PowerCLI returns a lot more data and I couldn't figure out how to read it using govmomi w/o Marshalling that response and unMarshalling into my own custom type. Probably not the right way to do it but it worked in a pinch.
