is there a limit on VMs we can pass for perfManager.SampleByName to get VM metrics

I want to get VM metrics of multiple VMs at a time using below api.
result, err := perfManager.SampleByName(ctx, spec, finalNames, vmrefs)

Is there a limit on how many refs I can pass in vmrefs for the above api to get multiple vm metrics at a time?
