[Solved] SCSS variable export support

Just continuing the conversation on SCSS variable export support, I find the auto locking bot quite annoying.

The thing is, it seems to be working, but it's working differently then how it used to.

console.

// _variables.scss
$primary-color: #999999; // 32.557%
$primary-light-color: #999999; // 32.557%
$secondary-color: #888888; // 77%
$error-color: #f88;

// theme.ts
import variables from '#src/styles/_variables.scss'
console.log(variables, variables.primary, variables[':export'])

Outputs the following craziness:

:export {
  primary: #999999;
  primaryLight: #999999;
  secondary: #888888;
  error: #f88;
} undefined undefined

Evan Yu, please save it. I know I should update to something better, but I've been stuck dependency hell and 3 false starts for the last 4 months, then I started doing the smallest updates I could with a can of hacks to make it work... it's been waaay more effective than attempting to upgrade everything all at once. Remember when you tweeted that it only took you 30 minutes to convert a vue2 app to vite... it's taken me days, excluding an upstream bug report and fix from my IDE.

Solution:

Exports are being imported as... a multiline string! Which means you have to manually parse them into javascript. Quite unusual, but not too bad.
