Can you modify the modulepreload path?

I am deploying an application on AWS and have my assets cached on CloudFront. Everything is working by setting the base url in my Vite configuration file except the modulepreloads. Is there anyway to adjust the url generation behavior? I didn't see anything in the configuration parameters.

Unfortunately I got nowhere with this and I honestly haven't really sourced dived myself to see.
