I deleted my projects folder using vite

i was creating a react app , without going into the the correct folder i wrote npm create vite .
then it asked me Current directory is not empty. Please choose how to proceed: and i chose remove all options .
Now i know this is completely my fault for not realizing but is there any way i could restore those files as it contained some projects that i had not pushed and one that has no backup.
these were personal projects so not a big issue but still if i could get those back it would be really helpful also just a suggestion even it remove all is selected it should put the files in the trash .
any help is welcomed

Yup, thanks to VSCode auto save, it stores in local history. I was able to recover full folders too using this Python lib: https://pypi.org/project/vscode-deleted-file-recovery/ — check it out.

THIS HELPED ME SO MUCH OMG!!! (I did exactly the same thing)
I HAVE A FINAL TOM, AND ACCIDENTALLY DELETED ALL MY PROGRESS, THIS IS GOD'S WORK!
