binary_sensor.*_station_running becomes unavailable when running

I am looking to use the state information of the binary_sensors created for each OpenSprinkler zone. Looking at the logs, I see that each of the Station Running binary_sensor goes to "unavailable" when it is actually running. Is this a known bug?

Does it stay unavailable for long? On my system I see most or all of the sensors going unavailable for one poll cycle occasionally, but it doesn't seem to hurt anything. I just assume the controller was too busy to respond.
