What problem did you encounter?

Summary

As the title suggests, the UI font rendering I get after installing Vinegar via the official flatpak installation instructions is absolutely unusable. It happens with both the winecfg window and the actual studio window itself.

I have looked everywhere and tried everything trying to find a way to get font smoothing inside the bundled wine build (tried installing new fonts, looked in the FAQ page, troubleshooting page and even GitHub issues), but to no avail.

Also tried installing Vinegar via other distributions but they just don't work at all. flatpak is the only one that works on my system.

Environment

  • DE/WM: Wayland/Hyprland
  • Kernel: 6.12.53-1-lts
  • GPU: nvidia RTX 2060 (of course)
  • GPU driver: 580.95.05 (proprietary)

It may look fine on here but it's very sharp and messy on my display.

I don't know if I am doing something wrong (even though I followed all installation instructions one to one) or if I am completely stupid or something...
Thanks in advance!
