Favicon not applied on Edge

Describe the bug
The favicon set by user is not shown on new tab

To Reproduce
Steps to reproduce the behavior:

1. Install extension on Edge
2. Set an unicode character for favicon in tab appearance (U+29C9)
3. Open new tab
4. New tab favicon use Edge default instead of the unicode character

Expected behavior
The emoji should appear as favicon of new tab, this only happens recently and not on older version

I installed using Chome web store instead of Edge Add-ons because I thought they are both chromium, Edge allows it and I don't want my extension list be separated by different store origin. I don't know if this helps

Unfortunately, it seems like Microsoft has pushed an update recently that forces their native favicon for new tabs. Even regular image favicons don't work anymore on Edge.

We'll have to update Bonjourr and hide the favicon input field to avoid confusion, like we already do on Safari.
