A potential workaround that I could suggest would be to set the background to an image that is stored on your computer, that picture being a single colour; like an image that is all black, thus providing a black background, or whatever colour you wanted. |

Forgot to update this post but using this snippet in the custom css section makes it work just as intended.
Allows it to be completely translucent, along with the browser if you have one which supports transparency. |
