Description
Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
Until recently, I exclusively used the GNOME desktop environment under Linux. Re-adjusting to windows has been somewhat of a hassle, and I'm trying to find good tools to make my workflow more similar.
Describe the solution you'd like
The implementation of hot edges, in a manner similar to the gnome shell extensions here or here. Basically, I want to be able to flick my cursor to the bottom of the screen to activate the all apps view. I don't particularly care if activation pressure is included, since I find it typically makes activating edges inconsistent.
Describe alternatives you've considered
While I could adjust to using the existing hot corner functionality, it requires a longer flick most of the time, and it's also somewhat spatially disconnected. I use centered task icons, so I think it makes more sense to flick down to them to activate the overview, rather than needing to flick to an empty corner.
Alternatively, I could wait for knocking gestures to be implemented (#19), but as someone who flicks between applications a lot, I think the extra motion required would quickly become annoying.
