the idea i think would be that we could stand this up in place of hyphy-vision, as steven suggested. maybe leave the legacy vizs there as well as anything we redesign, so ppl have options in case we guess wrong while re-imagining things.
itd also possibly let us dump these pages into iframes in datamonkey, if we elected to self-host cors-enabled. thats not an ideal solution, obvi, but could be a short term solution if we needed to incorporate into datamonkey quickly for some reason.
