Is there any way to change a global value of the field ".host" ? or to add a global "field:value" to every event?

Hey @colben, I think you are able to easily achieve this using a transform remap using VRL. Just click on the Advanced tab of the Example Configurations. You can also learn more about VRL here.

There's also https://vector.dev/docs/reference/configuration/global-options/#log_schema.host_key in case you wanted to change the key referring to the host.
