version/0.x is now the main branch

Following up the announcement, 1.x will be based on v0.10.5 and not on 1.0.0-alpha3. This doesn't mean that all the work went down the drain - most of it will be cherry-picked except for the major breaking changes, which will be integrated later on.

Given this move, it makes more sense to treat version/0.x as the default branch from now on
