Video looking different/worse after rendering?

I'm using the Premiere Pro plugin and I've noticed that often times the render looks nowhere near what I'm seeing while working in Premiere. There's a sharp loss in quality, and I don't mean what we're essentially doing with this plugin, but it just looks...bad. I'm having trouble explaining it, but my videos often don't look the same after rendering and I'm wondering if I'm doing something wrong maybe? Is there a proper way to render a video that uses this plugin? Also it looks like some of the effects are blinking?
