Readme markdown editor improvements

Currently, the markdown editor for readmes is pretty rudimentary. I'd like to see it get closer to Github's markdown editor with the types of controls we see here and also the ability to paste urls over selected text to create a markdown link

More suggestions that I've been tracking:

• autocomplete for val user names (with tagging notifications)
• autocomplete for val names (with tagging notifications)
• sorted by participating, like how github does it
• automatic bracket completion (github comment box component or code mirror?)
• proper formatting for yaml frontmatters
• preview without save

It would also be cool to disable the focus switch on Tab, it makes writing code snippets in readme quite cumbersome.

I'd like to be able to completely collapse the readme element for when I want to see more of the code & logs
