Remembering window position and size does not seem to work

After updating to the non-packaged version, the remember window position and size feature does not seem to work

No such feature was ever implemented, unless you mean restoring window position and size after it was reduced to tray. In that case, I cannot reproduce the issue as it works for me. Please provide more accurate information.

This feature works fine in the packaged version, I will upload a video demonstration later

As you can see in the video, I first started the packaged version, and after closing the window and restarting it, it remembered the last window size and position. Then I started the unpackaged version several times, and it did not remember the last window position and size (and seemed a bit slower?).
