Error IMAP google

Hello,

It seems that Google is now blocking IMAP access, which is preventing me from connecting. As a result, it looks like we would need an interface to connect directly with Google.

Are you aware of this change? Do you have any solutions in place for this? I'm currently stuck and unable to move forward.

I hope App password is currently working for gmail mentioned in blog below.

It's not very clear from Google's info whether app passwords still work or not.
I was forwarding emails to another inbox that still supports IMAP, but that made things more complicated.

What’s strange is that IMAP login was failing all morning and most of yesterday, then suddenly started working again in the afternoon. Maybe Google is changing something and it goes on and off? No idea. Anyway, I’ll set up the app password now. Thanks again!
