Factor out some SYCL concepts to an abstract kernel

Ellen mentioned we should look into making an abstract kernel node that has some properties added on top of par:

• Associated memory
• Ability to "fork/join" the kernel separately

I think shared/global memory in cuda/opencl should also target "associated memory". Any other ideas?
