recently i have experienced the graphical debian (also another headless one) on apple virtualization on my old intel macbookpro, and the experience was so smooth and the mouse motion so fine, battery and heat very efficient. |

Apple's virtualization framework only supports booting macOS (optimized) and Linux (unoptimized). QEMU supports booting Linux (optimized) and Windows (unoptimized).
Parallels has their own software stack that they've invested millions of dollars and thousands of engineers on.
