NetBSD Virtualization on M1

Hi, I'd like to run NetBSD Virtualized instead of Emulated.

I've tried running with default settings on M1 Max cpu and I get a crash (this comment describes the crash #6919 (comment))
This is the ISO image I've used https://cdn.netbsd.org/pub/NetBSD/NetBSD-10.1/images/NetBSD-10.1-evbarm-aarch64.iso (should be correct one, aarch64, little-endian)
If I turn off Use Hypervisor crash is avoided, and some boot process messages get written on the screen but then machine just displays Display output is not active.

x86_64 emulation works and seems to run correctly

Any hints/suggestions how to proceed

I got arm aarch64 running good enough for my use case (terminal only)

• start with the default machine settings
• edit machine
  • turn off QEMU->Use Hypervisor (to avoid crash in 4.6.4.107)
  • in Devices->Display->Emulated display card set ram framebuffer standalone device (ramfb) (to avoid NetBSD hanging during boot)
    • alternatively add New...->Serial and use terminal directly
      • optionally remove Display device

UEFI boot does not write to Serial device, be patient for a few seconds (it would be nice if we can have some output)

if helps pinpoint NetBSD hang this is the log when the display is left on the virtio-* card emulation
