Ubuntu 20.04 support ending - any plans to upgrade?

Support for Ubuntu Local Fossa (20.04) is quickly approaching its end. Are there any plans to upgrade to a more recent version? Using such an outdated version of ubuntu (and default build toolchain) also makes it much harder to build and use common machine learning packages, making submissions unnecessarily painful
