FYI this release introduced a dependency that's licensed GPL2, which was an upgrade blocker for anyone using an incompatible license. Release 2.8.1 includes dropping the GPL2 dependency in favor of a dependency that is licensed MIT. Please upgrade (or don't!) accordingly ❤️
