is there a way by which I can give statement query as span name in otelgorm plugin??

Hello guys,
I am new to opentelemetry, currently I am facing an issue where i want to enable observability for my db queries and I want the span name to be query statement rather than gorm methods, is there a way i can achieve this, I am using new Relic as my backend directly using exporter without collection.
