Change chrome's default download directory

I’m trying to open Chrome with the default download directory modified, but when I do this, Chrome starts to be detected as a browser being manipulated. Chrome only becomes undetectable if I open it like: "driver = uc.Chrome()".
Can anyone help me identify what I did wrong?

I've figured out that all that I needed was:

    "plugins.always_open_pdf_externally": True,
}
options = uc.ChromeOptions()
options.add_experimental_option("prefs", prefs)
driver = uc.Chrome(options=options)
