Pasting markdown doesn't deserialize the todo list

When pasting a to do list (example below) Plate doesn't recognize the type as TodoList. It's really important for the project I'm working on that this works correctly. Could someone help me?

Combinations I have tried that don't work:

- [ ] task 1
[] task 2
[ ] task 3

[zbeyens]

You will need to extend the element rules using options.elementRules. Start from this default.
