Artificial intelligence has only widened the gap between human pace and machine capability. Tools like ChatGPT, algorithmic trading bots, and predictive policing models process faster and make humans feel slow by comparison. This perception of human slowness can devalue the deep work and contextual understanding we’ve historically relied on.
