I am reading and trying to implement the noise estimator in the paper Practical q-IND-CPA-D-Secure Approximate Homomorphic Encryption. But I don't quite understand the noise ground truth in this paper and how to measure and test the estimator in Lattigo. For example, rescale operation rescales both the plaintext and ciphertext and I don't understand why precision loss becomes smaller. Also, if the estimator is going to be released, please let me know. Thanks!!
