Testing experimental support for JVM IR in KAPT stub generation

I was wondering if there is any way of testing the new experimental support for JVM IR in KAPT stub generation task feature in Kotlin 1.7.20 (https://kotlinlang.org/docs/whatsnew1720.html#support-for-the-jvm-ir-backend-in-kapt-stub-generating-task) ? I would guess that #320 would need to be merged, but is there some way to set this flag with this library? :)
