Description
Dear XMI-MSIM users,
You may have noticed that I have not been working on this repository for a long time, and that no releases have been published for more than 4 years now.
I simply do not have time to maintain this (rather complex) project anymore.
I would certainly welcome contributions though. Here are a list of things that would need to happen to make this project viable again:
- remove the Windows registry and macOS app specific code
- remove the special Windows installer and macOS app bundle builds
- port the buildsystem to meson/ninja, and dump the autotools build
- test conda builds for the three major platforms
- add XMI-MSIM to conda-forge
- switch to Gtk4
This would make it far more easier to push out releases at a reasonable cadence.
