On devices that don't support the native adaptive refresh rate , there are instances that the system resets the refresh rate to "High" mode (the default for these devices). This option will prevent that and ensure that "Adaptive" mode is maintained.

That's expected, as your device settings are limited to only these options. If it doesn't allow you to apply, you might try triggering it with a routine.

However, what you reported—that 'it doesn't work'—doesn't make sense to me now since you haven't actually checked it or don't know how to check it.
