Issue with Character Shadows (Bliss Shaders)

A common problem is the bug with the character's shadow, which occurs in both first-person and third-person views. The shadow stretches across all loaded chunks.

I tried running other shaders and didn't encounter this issue. I also removed all mods except this one and the shaders themselves, but the problem persisted. This led me to believe that the issue lies specifically in compatibility with this mod. However, I really want to play with both these shaders and this mod together.

I'm not sure yet, my best guess is, that this issue is with the Bliss Shaders, as other shaders don't experience this issue. But it might also be related to the shadow issues. Either way, I'll have to talk with some shader devs about what's going on there, as I have no clue.

Here is a screenshot of how the shadow stretches (it can stretch from any part of the body and simultaneously with several parts of the body), maybe this will help you.

Huh? I dont see whats wrong with that screenshot? I assume you mean the visual artifact, where random streaks go over the screen/cause issues for a frame and then vanish.

His shadow stretched from my feet (if I move a little bit or turn the camera, it disappears)

I turned slightly, and the extra shadow disappeared.

Hm, god knows whats going on there. I should also clarify, I have 0 influence on how the shadows work/look. So all I can do is verify with shader devs on what might cause corruption of the rendering.

Give the current dev build of 3d skin layers a try and turn in the setting the iris workaround on, maybe that helps. Report back if that worked.
