I might put some safeguards around the master branch but it will be a bit unconventional. The master branch must allow for force pushes from at least some people |

Since there has been set a safeguard for preventing accidental force pushes (as tested in commit 18d5a53 and its comments) for most maintainers (see CONTRIBUTING.md for exceptions), the discussion is now closed. |
