Almost unusable on macos

Hi All, I have installed affine on my macbook pro m3 16G Ram
but it is super laggy and slow on every aspect of the app from opening to rendering the icons and buttons, everything is super slow even for a simple text editing I have to wait at least 3 to 5 seconds for the cursor to be ready and responsive. I really dont know what to do? or anyone has this issue? any solution

Here’s an idea, based on my own experience. A few days ago, I downloaded AFFiNE on one of my laptops (an M1 MacBook Pro I don’t use too often) and was horrified by the performance. Turns out that I had downloaded the Intel version of the app, because it’s the default when you download the beta version 🙃

Anyway… downloading the Arm version fixed the issue, and things now run smoothly.
