I figured it out. First go to the template that you want. Make an account if you have not already on https://app.affine.pro. Then it will ask you to add the template to the workspace. Once done, open it if not already, click the 3 dots/meatball bar, then click on "Export", and lastly "Export to Snapshot" as the following image shows. Then the Snapshot will download as a Zip file. Now go to the Affine app or wherever you have you are connected to your Self-Hosted Affine Version. You have successfully imported the template to your Self Hosted Affine Version. |

There is also a way to get that template without first maging an affine.pro account. 1.right click the button and copy the url to a text editor. the even simpler version of just changing the url on the "use this template" button from affine.pro to mydomain.com does not work and produces an error: "Failed to load template, please try again." on the self hosted version. |
